Leading the School of Social Sciences have always been a pleasant experience since it includes a group of talented and dedicated faculties who are always committed to the scholastic call of the learners and in enhancing their skills to meet the academic interests of contemporary times.

Since its inception, the School of Social Sciences include within its realm a wide range of disciplines namely Political Science, History, Public Administration and Sociology. Based on such diverse themes, the School offers varied programme to obtain Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral degree. The syllabi of all the programmes were updated as per the UGC Regulations at regular intervals of time and reflect a sustained dedication to foster an interdisciplinary approach to the study of history, politics and society.

The School believes in inculcating the conceptual framework to its learners, encourage in its implementation for a comprehensive understanding of the past as well as present and synthesize research into real time socio-political solutions by means of policy studies. In doing so, the programmes ground their analysis of social practices and relations in and across a range of disciplines and field of study. The School emphasizes the cultivation of critical skills in developing innovative and original thinking of the learners so that it would ensure their success both academically and professionally.
